Rockin Rudy’s Record Heaven

Rockin Rudy’s Record Heaven is an independent record store in Missoula, Montana. Rudy arrived in 1982 and opened the shop with only his personal record collection as stock. And with that, Rockin Rudy’s Record Heaven was born.

Over time the business grew and fluctuated, but the focus has always been the same: curating a top-shelf music collection that’s accessible to all. Today, it has grown into one of the region’s largest record stores. Located at 845 Ronan St. along Missoula’s Bitterroot Trail, Record Heaven is a local goldmine of all things vinyl.

Record Heaven carries new and used vinyl (33 1/3s, 45s, 78s), plus vinyl accessories like needles, cartridges, cleaning kits, and all things vinyl related. In addition to records, we also carry used cassettes, 8-tracks, reel-to-reel tape, and other vintage audio formats.

We also buy record and cassette collections and used stereo equipment from around the region. As audiophiles, we also house one of the largest selections of used audio equipment in the region — including new and used turntables, receivers, power amps, preamps, CD players, tape decks, equalizers, speakers, tuners, reel-to-reel players, and anything else vintage audio we can get our hands on. In other words: we stock anything cool that we can find.
